On Call With… Dr. Zubin Daruwalla
Dr. Zubin Daruwalla, a 2005 Alumnus of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Dr Zubin Daruwalla joins the call with the Alumni Team from his office at home in Singapore. It is the place from which Zubin balances his consultancy work with clinical practice; on the wall hangs his framed degrees from RCSI while behind him is a bookcase displaying some keepsakes, including a winner’s medal from the 2006 Inter-Hospitals Hockey Competition when he represented RCSI Beaumont. Zubin’s relaxed and convivial nature belies the intense workload he undertakes. Five days a week, he works as Health Industries Leader with PwC Singapore's Venture Hub, an exciting and innovative approach to guiding start-up HealthTech companies from conceptualisation to commercialisation in a successful and sustainable manner. Meanwhile, at the weekend he conducts virtual telemedicine clinics thereby bridging the gap between corporate consulting and healthcare practice.
